While we might not coo over a pair of flats like we do a pair of heels there's no denying their importance for everyday dressing, and this season there are some great styles around.

Formal flats are great for this time of year when we're not quite ready to fully embrace summer sandals but flashing a bit of ankle is our perfect level of exposure. We'll be wearing ours pointed and metallic (looks great in the sunshine), with tailored trousers in the office, and with jeans at the weekend. 

Oh, and if you need any more convincing, the cost per wear is always a winner for us - flats get more use, so the cost-per-wear goes down, brilliant.
