Lorde, the 17-year-old sensation from New Zealand, showed up on the red (well, blue) carpet of the Delta Airlines pre-Grammy party (the Grammys are on Sunday night) looking a vision of composure last night, just as we'd expect. The singer, who is currently on the cover of Rolling Stone, went on to perform for the starry LA crowd. 

Our favourite English rose, Imogen Poots, was in New York on Wednesday night at the premiere of her latest film, That Awkward Moment, posing on the red carpet alongside American stars like Zac Efron and New York scenesters like AndrewAndrew. In London, Naomi Campbell put on a sparkling Michael Kors dress for her stint as a presenter at last night's National Television Awards.

Meanwhile, the best thing about the red carpet at the Sundance film festival is that stars are seriously wrapped up, giving us some refreshingly wearable winter outfit inspiration. Hey, who'd blame them – it's cold in Utah where the event is held. Breaking Bad's Krysten Ritter offered a cosy combo of thigh-high boots and a chunky knit, and Anne Hathaway's luxe ivy suit was warmed up with chunky sheep-skin lined boots. Meanwhile over in London Keira Knightley looked chic as ever in tailored black Proenza Schouler with sweet bow shoes at the Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit premiere. 

We've had the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards, the Critics' Choice Awards and a variety of other high-profile red-carpet events but awards season 2014 is far from over. In fact, for at least the next month, there will be an array of gorgeous people to coo over constantly as heavy-hitting premieres and starry ceremonies take place in LA, in New York and in London. On Sunday night, the 25th Annual Producers Guild Awards were on in Los Angeles, drawing girl of the moment Lupita Nyong'o (we're more familiar with her face than some of our closest family members at the moment) and a sublimely elegant Claire Danes.
