The life of a male model must be just about the best job on the planet for a 20 something dude. The travel, the pay packets, the girls, the boys, the gym sessions. All this and they don't get the paparazzi crap of their female equivalents. Nobody's coat-tailing Marlon Teixiera around Chiltern Firehouse each night. What luck.
It's a much-discussed topic that the most successful male models never reach household name status. There's the odd exception; Nick Kamen, Marcus Schenkenberg, Mark Vanderloo, Tyson Beckford, Paul Sculfor, David Gandy. But their fame tends to grow from those rare runaway campaign success stories like Kamen for Levis or Gandy for Dolce & Gabbana. That, or they reach notoriety for who they are dating.
