Kruger in Katrantzou –what do we think?
Our panelists on the latest and greatest celebrity looks
Diane Kruger wearing Mary Katrantzou to a Fox party in Los Angeles yesterday

What can I say – the background really doesn't help here. It's lines and angles, it's roses and peonies. Just when you thought you were looking up through the roof of the new King's Cross Station and realised it was a bodice and made your way through the pagoda-print skirt, she gets you with some weird low-slit peep-knee asymmetric hem thing and then, just to really wrong-foot you, she teams it with simple strappy sandals and a boring clutch. This needs mad shoes, mad bag and a ridiculous hat. I hated it. I loved it. And at the last hurdle she let me down.

Despite seeming to do little more that cavort around with Pacey from Dawson's Creek in really, really nice outfits, Diane Kruger was shockingly excluded from the annual Vanity Fair Best Dressed list earlier this week. Perhaps they thought that she isn't creative enough with her looks or that she seems overly styled. That would be my only concern regarding her dress sense. But when I see her so impeccably turned out, resplendent in Mary Katrantzou, I have to say I think they missed a trick. This woman can do justice to a dress. Shame about the accessories though.
Peter Jensen, fashion designer
Well she looks lovely, the shape, colours and print suits her very well. I like that she is not wearing any jewellery, just nice skin almost like the drawing of Anne Neville. Lovely red lips. I hate the bag, but I suppose that a girl needs somewhere to keep her fags.
