How to wear a Wu-Tang tee

Our panelists on the latest and greatest celebrity looks

Jemima Kirke on the set of Girls in NY

Karen Dacre, fashion editor at the Evening Standard
I’m not a huge fan of Jessa’s outfit choices – they’re a bit too early Noughties, too Sienna-Miller boho meets Brooklyn for my liking  – but Jemima Kirke looks great here. Of course, I’m almost entirely swayed by the Wu-Tang clan T-shirt. And her choice of headband – very Ms Anna Madrigal. This look says off-duty Brooklyn actress like no other I’ve ever seen her in. The basket shoes, uniform in Williamsburg, are its only downfall. A chunky sandal, probably from Marni, would have made a far better alternative. Still, Method Man must be proud.

Elin Evans, junior fashion editor at Never Underdressed
Why do I love Jemima’s outfit? Because she’s got one foot firmly in fashion territory with that blue headband that wants to be a turban. And one foot firmly in the ‘I’m wearing this because it’s clean’ camp. She’s wearing what look like the Carven slippers, but they’re probably from some vintage fair. There aren’t many people who look so comfortable in their clothing, whatever they’re wearing – and that’s true style.

Ok, ok, ok, I don't know this Girls show but if one of the cast is busting a Wu-Tang T-shirt, I'm in!  I've got issues at the moment with luxury boutiques trying to be 'hood' with all the 'homies' and 'trill' merch, but I reckon she bought it for nothing from a downtown thrift store. The shorts look a bit like she wore them for bed the night before, you know, that Spring Breakers teen sleepover thing, and the head band is a bit close to the bone Tupac.  All in all though, she's free 'n' easy, and that's true fashion spirit realness!
