This woman will never not look cool

I don't think this coat is particularly flattering on her. She reminds me of a little girl playing dress-up in her grandmother's oversized clothes. I wouldn't be surprised if granny's boiled sweets and rosary beads are in one of the pockets. The nude shoes and bare legs make her look so much taller too. But Tilda is so innately cool and stylish that she gets away with it.

Lynn Enright, staff writer at Never Underdressed
Goodness, I love her. She takes this tent-like dress and just dares you not to like it. It's a challenge to all I know about fashion, colour and proportion but I concede to her every time. She can make the seemingly dull look extraordinary and it's something to do with what's going on behind those green eyes. I want her to teach me how to do it.

Sali Hughes, beauty editor at the Guardian
Tilda Swinton is a one-off. Everything about this breaks the rules of the red carpet and thank goodness. Oversized proportions, a drab, uniform colour palette (even the make up is beige!), no boobs, bum – barely even a wrist. But she looks absolutely fabulous in her usual chic, interesting and effortless way. Hollywood needs her.
