The bomber jacket has been gradually becoming a big deal since Isabel Marant paired an embroidered version with pink jeans for spring/summer 2011, and the trend's still going strong. If the spring/summer 2014 shows at London Collections: Men this weekend are anything to go by, this particular jacket is not set to disappear any time soon with men's styles that could easily be worn by women cropping up everywhere. 

At Jonathan Saunders, the same shiny candy-coloured bombers shown with his womenswear resort 2014 collection made their way onto male models, while Richard Nicoll featured a bomber bonanza in his latest collection with styles in metallic jacquard, duck-egg blue leather and  photographic print.

With the lines between menswear and womenswear increasingly blurred, guys and girls alike will no doubt be seen wearing this trend for seasons to come - especially if designers showing at this round of men's shows continue on the same train of thought when it comes to designing their women's spring/summer 2014 collections, due to be shown in September.
