Hollywood's cool-girls make a video for Miu Miu
The spring campaigns are throwing up some interesting stars, with Miley for Marc, and the cream of the new faces crop for both Burberry and Prada, and now Miu Miu have joined the party by rounding up Hollywood's coolest girls for their spring 2014 ads.
One to watch for 2014, Lupita Nyong'o, who stars in Steve McQueen's 12 years a Slave (released today) leads the way, ensuring that all eyes will be on her (bets on wearing Miu Miu) during the forthcoming red carpet season.
Miu Miu is known for celebrating Hollywood's off-beat actresses, most notably with campaigns featuring Drew Barrymore, Chloe Sevigny, Kirsten Dunst and Hailee Steinfeld.
Bella Heathcote has been a breakout star of the red carpet over the last couple of years, following her role in Dark Shadows, and it'll be exciting to see whether her new role as a Miu Miu girl will see her upping her fashion game.
Miu Miu marks the first campaign for indie-darling Elizabeth Olsen, and with a starring role in Godzilla this year, alongside Aaron Johnson and Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston, chances are we'll be seeing a lot more of her.
UPDATE: Miu Miu have released a video of the campaign, a hyperactive 90 seconds that imagines the actresses in their respective bedrooms. Cut at dizzying speed and sountracked by Porter Robinson, it's a fun and cheeky ode to party-filled nights and further confirms that this is one of the coolest freshest campaigns of spring.
