Rag & Bone sign up indie darling Lea Seydoux and her male version Michael Pitt

by

Léa Seydoux, the star of Cannes and the face of Prada Candy, has landed another high-profile campaign, this time with Rag & Bone, the New York label headed up two British expats.

Seydoux, who stars in the controversial lesbian drama Blue is the Warmest Colour, the winner of this year’s Palme D’Or at Cannes, was shot by London photographer Glen Luchford for the autumn womenswear adverts.

For menswear, the label turned to Michael Pitt, an actor who is almost identical to Seydoux: full lips; clear, almost waxy skin; pale blue eyes; flaxen hair – they are like a pair of chic Dutch twins.

The campaign hasn’t been released yet but teasers from the shoot hint at a sparse look with pared-down hair and beauty in an urban setting.
