The bag that looks like a giant sweetie (and that will save your back)
Never Underdressed's Assistant Editor Kelly Bowerbank on her Burberry bag.
There are two types of handbag carriers in this world: those who can run free with a tiny clutch or a dainty cross body bag, and those who lug around enough stuff to cater for almost every eventuality. I fall into the latter group. My work bag is bursting with the usuals (purse, phone, keys, lipbalm, sunnies, water…), and the not so usuals (sci-fi novel, emergency nuts, dictaphone, sewing kit…). It's so full and heavy that friends often remark on the weight of it. And therein lies the appeal of this Burberry Prorsum bag: it forces you to think about what you’re carrying around daily. Do I really need my last 12 months’ worth of receipts? What about nine (yes, nine) lipsticks? And two notepads? Err, no, no and no. But that practicality aside, it also looks like a giant, fabulous sweetie!
