Chunky-knit, oversized jumpers are obligatory during the winter months. Usually they're confined to Sofa Sundays, this season, however, they're a viable public-facing outfit choice, as seen on the catwalks at Burberry Prorsum, Bally and Marc Jacobs.

Play with proportions - an oversized jumper will look great with a pair of skinny jeans or neat A-line skirt, and the only pattern necessary is the weave of the jumper. It's all about the texture. Look out for balloon sleeves - Somerset by Alice Temperley's style has great sleeves.
