Summer and the trend for florals go hand in hand. But how do you wear the trend if you're not a) a bridesmaid or b) seven years old?

We saw the trend on countless catwalks and in a myriad of different ways, from 3D and textured at Erdem to graphic (and diagrammatic) at Christopher Kane. But the trick to wearing florals in real life is print - graphic and bold. On the high street French Connection has a great (almost) Hawaiian printed shirt and Marks & Spencer has a great co-ordinating trouser/top set. And when mixed with more masculine elements like tailored jackets and oversized sweatshirts you're a million miles from looking twee.
