Come festival season, celebrities put down their Birkin bags and kick off their Manolos, swapping them for rucksacks and muddy wellies (practical) and floral headbands and hats (not practical per se but necessary for getting into the spirit of things). They decamp to Coachella and Glastonbury and they swan around in VIP areas, experiencing a festival in an altogether more fashionable way than we civilians will ever know.

Of course, Coachella is an altogether California-ised festival and consequently the festival style is quite polished (it's quite possible to wear a proper pair of shoes at Coachella, just look at Dita Von Teese) while in rainy England mud usually abounds and a grungier look with hints of glamour (Kate Moss always nails it) is more sensible.
