You know when you can't find your lipstick, and you're sure it's in one of your bags but you can't remember which one? Well, when that happens to Victoria Beckham, it's a problem on a whole different scale. Because this woman has a lot of bags.

From the WAG years to her current life in the fashion industry, she's never been without some fabulous arm candy – and we don't mean David. So just as we previously took a magnifying glass to Gwyneth Paltrow's shoe collection, today we're scrutinising every single bag Beckham has swung from her shoulder or clutched in a manicured hand over the last decade.

In her post-Spice Girl days, Beckham flirted with several big designer names but none more so than Hermès. Between 2005 and 2010 she was the fashion house's biggest fan, appearing out and about with 16 Hermès bags. These included four Kellys and nine Birkins, though she was rumoured to own 100 of those – she had them in red, purple, pink, blue and white, but kept coming back to the trusty black version.

She also had her Chanel 2.55 moment, a few Dolce & Gabbana adventures and a brief dabble with Roberto Cavalli. But since she started designing her own line, she's been the best possible advert for it –  she's especially attached to the Victoria Beckham gold box bag and a white perforated leather clutch, which she's taken out four times in the last year. In fact the last time she was snapped with another label's bag was way back in February 2011. (It was a Céline clutch, if you're wondering. Girl's got taste.)

The good news is that some of Beckham's collection is still available to buy. So delve into the gallery to see all the bags she's known and loved since 2004 – and if you start feeling the burn of handbag envy, just be grateful that you don't have to find storage space for all these beauties.
