They say that imitation is the best form of flattery, so it looks like Donatella has been indulging in a little bit of self praise, first with the spring 2014 ads for Versace, starring Lady Gaga styled in a guise not unlike the molto bella designer, and now by keeping the doppelganger singer at her side during the Couture shows in Paris. 

 

 

But then it's not the first time Lady Gaga has donned a blonde wig. Despite having a style that would put even the most fickle chameleon to shame (who can even keep track of her outfits these days?) she often looks as though Donatella Versace is top of her inspiration list...

If it aint broke, don't fix it - Gaga styled her vintage Versace just as Donatella did the first time around.

Even if you weren't looking through dark glasses, you can barely tell these two apart. 

Gaga even manages to do a good Donatella without the blonde hair. 

Donatella's not the only one with a celebrity double. 

Phoebe Philo seems like she might have been thinking along the same lines as when she cast her doppelganger Daria Werbowy in a Céline campaign. 

Speaking of casting, there are no prizes for guessing why Audrey Tautou was chosen to play Coco Chanel in Coco Before Chanel. 

At the Global Gift Gala last week, Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham went matchy.

Indeed, these stylish BFFs have been morphing into each other for a while.

Natalia Vodianova and Stella McCartney have a long-standing working relationship as well as a growing resemblance.
