Last season it was Naomi Campbell striding down the catwalk. But for spring 2014, the Atelier Versace show raised the bar even higher with face of the label's latest ad campaign Lady Gaga sitting front row. Dressed in a black draped silk column dress from the collection, she posed for the cameras and obligingly spun round to show off the cutaway detailing at the back of her dress and beaded cowl hood. It was a preview of the collection, if you like.

Models walked to a soundtrack of Gaga hits, some old and some new, but all of which had the audience tapping their feet. And at the end of it all, she stood up and gave designer Donatella Versace a hug as she took her bow.
