You might not expect Anna Wintour to attend an X-Men screening, but that's exactly what she did last night. Perhaps she just really likes Hugh Jackman.

It seems half the world is in France right now – but those celebrities who are back home in New York, London and Los Angeles continue to find red carpet events to attend. On Tuesday Dakota Fanning stepped out in red for a film screening, while in the UK a smattering of models and actors attending the opening of the new Globe-Trotter store.

'Tis the season to hand out shiny gold awards - Diane Kruger was at the Peabodys on Monday celebrating public service TV and radio, while Orange is the New Black's Taylor Schilling (it's back soon, people) was at the Webbys. Drew Barrymore was toasting her latest film with Adam Sandler in Berlin, channelling the sort of Ray of Light-era Madonna look, which we heartily approve of.

While the big screen continues to be celebrated in Cannes, on Sunday night the small screen got a look-in in London with the TV BAFTA awards. Olivia Colman picked up an awards for best actress in an emerald green dress as bright as the sun that shone on the red carpet, and Downton Abbey's Elizabeth McGovern looked cool and serene in white. The real style star of the show of course, was Naomi Campbell in a stunning grey Roberto Cavalli cutaway dress. 

Over in LA Jennifer Lopez gave the Euro red carpet scene a run for its money in a gorgeous red Donna Karan Atelier gown for the Billboard awards in Las Vegas.
