On Thursday, the Queen of British pop, Adele, received her MBE from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace wearing a dress by the Queen of British fashion, Stella McCartney.

On Wednesday night, Kristin Wiig was spotted at the New York premiere of her latest film, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, while on Tuesday night, The Wolf of Wall Street premiere took place in the city. The film's director, Martin Scorsese, attended the Armani-sponsored event as well as stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie and Cristin Milioti, and a smattering of New York types. 

On Monday, from LA to New York, both Julia Roberts at the Osage County premiere and Kim Basinger at the opening of Grudge Match, beat the December chill by eschewing gowns in favour of suits. Both obviously did so with maximum glamour. Juliette Lewis on the other hand, also at the Osage County premiere, went festive in purple satin that left her looking ready for the top of the tree. Out on the streets Kate Moss and Rihanna showed just how good statement outerwear can look.
