Cara calms down and looks great
Our panelists on the latest and greatest celebrity looks
Cara Delevingne at the opening of the Trilogy flagship store in London
Lou Stoppard, fashion editor at SHOWstudio
It's a pleasant surprise not to see Cara sporting some lurid cartoon or something more scandalous like a micro crop-top or, you know, the ultimate model accessory, a bag of suspicious white powder. She actually looks pretty normal here. Almost wholesome, especially when you consider that most other female celebrities her age are wearing pornographic micro denims, stripper heels and some heinously inappropriate accessory like a bindi or bizarre facial piercing. That blue eye-shadow's a bit weird though, but the cute sneakers make up for it. Stay on the straight and narrow Cara!
Elin Evans, junior fashion editor at Never Underdressed
Model-off-duty-alert. Jeans, sweatshirt, trainers, done. But look closer and you’ll see that Cara has been keeping up with our Trends – she’s chosen to pledge her allegiance to London brand Trapstar by wearing one of their logo sweatshirts. She’s then finished off the look with some suede Reeboks and blue eyeshadow, which sounds wrong, but in the flesh looks slightly exchange-student-visits-London. In a good way.
Carol Tobin, comedian and writer
Cara is everywhere, she's like plastic. Yet I'm still not sick of looking at her. She has the youth and confidence to pull off this outfit of runners, sweatshirt and jeans, which is similar to the outfit I wear for late night trips to the bottle-bank. Even though she is single-handedly responsible for the increase in other models making silly faces on Instagram, I still adore her and her laid back, dare I say practical, approach to fashion.
