The Notting Hill Carnival - Europe's biggest street festival is upon us. 

The jerk chicken is marinading, the Red Stripe is chilling but can we talk about what I'm really looking forward to - those sequin and feather couldn't-wear-it-unless-you'd-removed-all-body-hair extravagant outfits. For me carnival outfits are in the same bracket as ice-skating costumes, camp, ridiculous and a well-needed antidote to the mundanity of jeans and t-shirts.  

So in lieu of donning a sequin and feather headdress this weekend we've brought you some (slightly more) wearable carnival fashion. Enjoy.
