Is beach hair making a comeback?
Despite Baltic temperatures and monumental winds prevailing this week, there's been a swarm of beach textured hair that’s really taken us by surprise. Well, see, it was doing it’s thing for season upon season. And then it sort of just went. Disappeared off somewhere, without even giving us warning.
Now though, out of nowhere, it looks as though beach hair is making a sly comeback. You know, that kind of salty, slightly rough hair that you can image wafting down Malibu beach on a boiling July morning, teamed with a tight, black Lisa Marie Fernandez swimsuit. It’s that texture that manages to be cool and carefree, but also slightly polished too, for when you see it NOT on a beach you know its taken some careful handiwork.
There was Salma Hayek, looking rather wonderful at Stella McCartney’s Christmas party on Wednesday night with her textured, bouncy hair. Almost verging on curly, but very, very good. Model Jaquetta Wheeler's been doing it too, most recently at the Isabel Marant dinner where she showcased some serious beach babe lengths. The sort that you’d like to have yourself and flaunt on the sunny beaches of Formentera. Or just wear in London, right now please, in these sub-zero temperatures.
