We are in the midst of the happiest season of the year. The season in which the orangey glow warms our skin with a thousand beams of light and we all look a bit healthier. A bit happier. But summer presents it's own set of decisions. How will you do yours?

For, with each and every summer comes a gift of an opportunity to draw up a new blueprint for how we'll look and who we want to be as we're whisked away with the tides and the rum punch. Perhaps for you it's an Abbey Lee Kershaw floaty hippie girl, ethereal and wanton. Or, is it a bonkers nu-rave acid-wash hair look you're clammering for, as appropriated by the wonderfully nutty Chloe Norgaard?

I'll be attempting to channel even a tiny part of Françoise Hardy, wearing Paco Rabanne at the end of a blistering summer day. Quite how I'll get there is another topic entirely, but for now, click through the gallery for my ultimate summer poster girls.
