It's hot this week. Really, bloody hot. Yesterday was the kind of generous warmth that frequents New York in their summer months. Monday was equally as kind on the temperature front. Today will reach 25 degrees, says the Beeb. In fact, people, this hot spell is here to stay. For a bit, at least.

With a heatwave comes a dilemma though. On the beauty front, that is. You see, beautiful rays of sunshine do not lend a helping hand to keeping one's face fresh and flawless and shine-free. Oh no. In the city at least. On holiday, fine, because sea water and pools instantly refreshen an overheated complexion, but in the city, not so much. Things can get sticky, irritated and well, kind of ugly in the heat.
