Bridget Hall returns for Prabal Gurung
You've no doubt heard of Bridget Hall - she was on the periphery of all the supermodel fabulousness in the 90s, famous in the industry if a little less ubiquitous than Cindy et al, but no less of a goddess for that.
These days she's 35 (sharp intake of breath – KIDDING) and she's the new face of this, Prabal Gurung's autumn 2013 ad campaign.
'I still remember her from the ’90s,' Gurung told the New York Times. 'We’ve grown up with this fantasy about supermodels. I felt personally it was the right moment to celebrate women of that age.'
Canny too, given that women of 'that age' (that is to say, 'our age') are some of the biggest buyers of luxury goods in the world. And as if that wasn't enough, Gurung joins a raft of designers hosting re-runs of the supers for autumn. Witness Amber Valetta and Christy Turlington in Prada, Stella Tennant for Altuzarra and Turlington again Calvin Klein Underwear this season.
