Models can do a lot more than walk in a straight line or look superhumanly gorgeous in fashion shoots, you know. Lots of them can act, or give TED talks, and a surprising number of them can sing. Some, like Karen Elson, Carla Bruni, Milla Jovovich and, yes, Naomi Campbell, have released full studio albums; some, like Kate Moss, have collaborated with musician friends and boyfriends; a few (Heidi Klum, Gisele) have recorded songs for brands; and a new generation (models like Julia Nobis) are beginning their career on YouTube.
