Is Stam super-bland or 90s cool?
Our panelists on the latest and greatest celebrity looks
Jessica Stam at G-Shock's 'Shock the World' event in New York last night.

I don’t really get this scenario. There’s the cool minimalist spaghetti strap top, fine. The ladylike courts with a block heel – way to get ahead for autumn 2013, Jess. But in between, a pair of trousers printed with what appear to be saxophones. Cut a bit too loose and cropped a bit too high, I think they’re just a bit flaccid to make ‘a look’.

This is a serious yawn of a look, worn by one of my favourite models. The shoes kill what is an ok outfit, yet a simple flat would have sufficed. Funny how the step-and-repeat board behind her overpowers any semblance of fashion nous suggested by the pants with their quirky print. I guess the main point is her G-shock. When giving a speech during the evening, stood behind a lectern, the focus was on her wrist. Bit of a lightweight look to turn up to an event celebrating '30 Years of Toughness'. Zzzzzzzz.

Man, I love a cami right now, I seriously can't get enough of them, and Stam wears hers nicely with printed trousers. I like how she's put a baby-blue bra underneath it, so you get a little bit of colour showing through the sheer fabric. Good work on the raspberry stained lip for top 90s effect too.
