Victoria Beckham wears Louis Vuitton at Wimbledon
Carol Tobin, comedian
When I see the style at Wimbledon every year I always think, 'That's something I would wear if I had a posh boyfriend and had to meet his parents.' So I was excited to see this sexy slip dress on the ever impeccable Victoria Beckham. This is a dress I would wear if I had a posh boyfriend and wanted to annoy his parents or flirt with his Dad. The tweed saves it from looking too much like a nightie although if I was married to David Beckham a slip dress would be the most practical attire as I'd imagine I would be either always coming from or going to bed.
Lynn Enright, staff writer at Never Underdressed
Victoria Beckham has spent her adult years in the stands of sporting events, she is the ultimate and original WAG (as well as a highly successful fashion designer and businesswoman and a former pop star) so of course she understands how to dress for the Wimbledon final. This look is perfect, just perfect.

I like what every paper this morning is calling her 'nightie'. A) she's clearly not broiling inside her clothes, unlike every other person there, b) summer black is chic, c) she has nice arms. Also d), it's a bit sexy, in a Wimbledon-appropriate way that also has to do with her extreme thinness – on anyone bigger this would look too bedroomy. And it's tweed, not satin, which gives it a certain correctness. She looks lovely. I prefer her in clothes that aren't too structured – she looks fresh as a daisy.
