Nicole Richie. Sans make-up. Who knew this could be so utterly fabulous? It was only last week that we were extolling the virtues of her untouchable holiday wardrobe and now, back in the loving arms of the city, it appears that Nicole has foregone the assistance of foundation, mascara, lipstick and the rest, in favour or glowing, scrubbed skin.

And what spectacular skin she has. Naturally sun-bronzed, fresh and effervescent, you can almost see the expensive skincare radiating off her skin. Of course, we're not all blessed with a beautifully caramel skin tone with completely invisible pores but what we can take from Nicole is the lesson that, if you invest in your skin by way of sophisticated serums, creams and facials, why not let it show?
