Giving us a taste of the gorgeous autumn 2013 Valentino collection is a new video by Inez and Vinoodh, in which its baroque florals and ethereal dove-grey silks swish with appropriately brooding beauty. 

And could there be a better song could there be to soundtrack such scenes than Nick Cave’s dark ballad, Where the Wild Roses Grow (that’s the one with Kylie on it)? I very much doubt it. 

In fact, one look the style sported by Cave’s wife, the model and designer, Susie Bick, mean that these almost gothic, but beautifully ladylike pieces may just make Valentino the label-to-love for all the Nick Cave girls out there – or at least anyone looking to tap the Gothic Deluxe trend this season.
