We've seen the pictures from the shoot, and now the cover for the 60th anniversary issue of Playboy, featuring none other than the equally iconic Kate Moss, has been revealed. 

In an Instagram shot by Mert Alas, who shot the celebratory images for the magazine along with photographic partner Marcus Piggott, we see Kate herself clutching the cover in celebration of its release. 

As Kate Moss prepares to receive a special recognition award for her contribution to the fashion industry during her time as a model at tonight's British Fashion Awards, she seems like a fitting choice to cover a key issue of such a culturally significant magazine, wearing of course, its signature bunny outfit and Saint Laurent Paris Escarpin pumps. 

At a time when feminist debate in pop culture is so rife, a picture of the world's most powerful model in such distinctly pre-feminist garb could jar a little, but on the other hand, the instantly familiar image the cover conjures could just show both Playboy and Moss as the zeitgeist they are.
