The Propagandist: 27 June – 3 July

We tell you what to do

Big Browns bag: it's a well known fact that London boutique Browns stocks some of the coolest designer pieces around, so just imagine how good an archive clearance of theirs would be. Well, on June 28 and 29 you need imagine no longer as they will be hosting a special archive clearance sale at the South Molton Street store with up to 80 per cent off (which is practically free, right?) Céline, Balengiaga, Christopher Kane, Lanvin and more. Get scanning the collections now to create a mental wish list of past pieces that may pop up.

South of the River, north of the ground: For a few years now Frank's Cafe rooftop (or more accurately, car park top) bar has been a regular fixture in every Londoner's summer and this Sunday June 30, it's back. As usual, icy-cool drinks will be flowing, a summery sharable menu will be served, and you'll be able to watch the sun go down over one of the city's best views. Plus, don't forget that Peckham's cool now, so there'll be plenty of after-hours fun to be had about town too. Just pray for sunshine.

Festivalling vicariously: There are a lot of reasons why Glastonbury is best enjoyed from your living room, and thanks to the BBC, you can do just that from June 28-30. Like a friendly Big Brother of the festival, they've got cameras everywhere collecting footage to be curated neatly on their fancy Glastonbury site, or in the magical zone that appears when you press the red button on your remote. So the Arctic Monkeys, The Rolling Stones and million other bands who're playing over the weekend will be at your fingertips. In fact, when you're not in a toilet/cider queue (interchange half-hourly), or trekking from one site of the town-sized site to the other, you'll probably even catch more bands.

Stuff yourself silly: East London nocturnal food pop-up, Street Feast London comes to a close this weekend, but the market that brought us Ribstock (has there ever been a better 'stock'?) isn't going out without a bang. They will be hosting a closing party on June 29 with Big Apple Hotdogs (beware the hot sauce – they're not joking), Yum Bun, The Rib Man and many more of London's most popular roving chefs cooking up a storm. Expect to eat your weight in meat.

Sit down for a story: because this summer's not all about big blockbusters, there's no better time to see an independent film. On June 28 cult-filmmaker Sarah Polley's documentary, Stories we Tell opens at all of the coolest cinemas, so go and see her piece together her mother's history using her various family member's tales, then get into a heated pub discussion post-film with your movie-going companion about who really owns a story, and if we can and should trust our own memories.
