Emmanuelle Alt wears the trousers at French Vogue, literally and metaphorically. Since around 2007 she has rarely been spotted in a skirt. The French Vogue editor has adopted a uniform of skinny cigarette pants, t-shirts, shirts and blazers - so when she gets her pins out, the fashion world takes notice.
