It’s been a long and winding road for Brad Pitt’s hair, but at last night’s World War Z premiere in New York, it had outgrown its awkward in-between length and allowed its owner to reign supreme alongside a host of actors, musicians and models with long hair, as one of Hollywood’s top hotties once more. 

It had started so well for Brad and his neat quiff in the 90s and early 00s, but come 2005 it went horribly wrong for when he ill-advisedly hit the bleach and started channelling Robbie Williams circa 1996. Following a brief return to form in 2007, things got really rocky in 2010 with a not-long-but-not-short situation that has seen him with some serious scare-crow styles that no amount of ear-tucking could conquer. Even his honourable attempts to distract us with facial hair were in vain. 

Now that his flaxen locks skim past his shoulders, Brad Pitt’s long hair gives him a rugged edge that’s way more ‘dude in a band’ than ‘dude where’s the barber?’ and we couldn’t be happier that he’s finally out of the woods.
