Studio Voltaire goes POP! Arty party with a hearty
The South London-based art collective Studio Voltaire threw a benefit last night to raise money for its forthcoming projects, and to celebrate the birthday of its twin founders.
Art collector Valeria Napoleone and her sister, the New York-based accessories designer Stefania Pramma invited 200 of their friends to dress according to a POP! theme, and have their outfits judged by a panel that comprised design critic Alice Rawsthorn, designer Roksanda Ilincic and illustrator Julie Verhoeven.
Studio Voltaire is a leading not-for-profit contemporary art space in the capital, with a reputation for supporting emerging artist at the time when they need it most. They have been behind Phyllida Barlow, Paulina Olowska, Turner prize winner Elizabeth Price and Turner nominee Spartacus Chetwynd.
