I hereby certify that red patent Miu Miu pencil skirt as the coolest thing right now, and Rihanna looks murder in it!  Not sure what the denim coat is saying but hey, blue jeans are kind of due a comeback, and hooking that skirt with a grey T-shirt, well, she is well and truly my number-one sista!

So, you're heading out for dinner this week and aren't sure what to wear. Enter RiRi – beacon of inspiration – looking all Jessica Rabbit meets 1990s rebel in this Miu Miu denim coat, tee and scarlet Miu Miu patent-effect/ciré skirt, with lips and soles to match. Total babe.

There are about six different outfits going on here. It makes me think laundry day is overdue and Rihanna is making the best of what’s not already in the basket. The Louboutins and sexy pencil skirt make sense. The grey tee and dark-rinse duster coat just about go, but the whole thing together is confusing and muddled. The hair isn’t helping things. Greasy black roots and dry, matted, brassy lengths look fabulous on no one except a hungover Kate Moss.
