How to do festival hair by the women who really know

by

Glastonbury has started and for those going, the problem that occurs on day two at about 11.34am is the hair. The slightly greasy, lacklustre hair that needs some serious attention. And fast.

Make-up fine, easy to sort as long as you are armed with shed loads of mascara, foundation and all manner of glittery things to detract from tired eyes and booze face. But hair not so much. It’s always the tell-tale sign.

With this in mind, and the fact that the weather is going from rainy to sunny and back to rainy again (true to form as always, England), some essential prep is needed. Think dry shampoo, Tangle Teezer and more dry shampoo. A hat is always a good option too – either a plain black cap worn slightly to the side or a classic Alexa style fedora – in case things get really bad.

And before you go into total meltdown, just remember that there are plenty of stylish womenfolk who work the day-old festival hair look well. Lots of them, actually.
