Kate Moss’s Cotswolds haunt comes to London

by

Oh the joy. There’s nothing more pleasing that when a slice of Kate Moss’s Cotswold life comes to London. Like when Little Wallop, the pricey but delicious cheese of Blur bassist turned cheesemaker Alex James arrived on the shelves of Harvey Nichols (he lives in the next door village you see; she's a big, big fan). And when it was revealed that the swathes of blooms ordered in for the Moss-Hince wedding were in fact from Kensal Rise flower shop, Scarlet & Violet. It’s deeply satisfying – shallow as it may seem – and makes trying to be like the Moss a whole lot easier.

The good news, fellow Londoners, is that another of Kate’s countryside haunts has arrived in London. I know. This time in the shape of her favourite Cotswold spa, The Haybarn, located at the swanky Bamford HQ at Daylesford. The spa has just set up shop in the heart of Knightsbridge, in the sun trap of a roof at The Berkeley Hotel. How truly kind of them.

Three good things to note about this new opening: firstly not having to trek down the M40 to get a slice of Kate’s life. Secondly, the chance to wallow in the heavenliness that is the Bamford product range. And thirdly, the sheer blissful thought of nestling away in the haven of treatment rooms that lie there in, aptly named Willow, Beehive and Log Cabin. No, these aren’t named after Kate’s terriers, but you get the gist of quite how wholesomely relaxing this place is.

Hedge your bets on how long will it be before Mossy is seen exiting The Berkeley’s side entrance.
