Lipstick and heels combine. And it's glorious

by

In what is probably the most joyful meeting of minds in recent memory, beauty giant Revlon has teamed up with the much-hyped London shoe designer, Sophia Webster to launch a collection of lipstick-inspired show stopping heels.

Not merely a celebration of women's most loved accessories (yes, lipstick is an accessory, of sorts), but to celebrate the Revlon's cult Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick, £6.99 of last year. 'I wanted suede to play a big part in the designs so I had kid suede leather dyed to match the lipstick shades,' Sophia explains. 'A lot of my personal style is reflected in the designs. I wear a lot of colour and bright prints but I would rather wear heels with a pair of rolled up boyfriend jeans rather than a dress.

'I love the KiKi Kiss Me design the most - the printed vinyl upper means all you see when you look down are pink kisses all over your feet.' Having honed her trade under the fabulous eye of Nicholas Kirkwood before starting her own self-named label, Sophia looks well-placed to hold the baton of non-fusty footwear. It is impossible to imagine a chirpier shoe than those she has created Revlon. Or indeed any that would look better with battered denims.

All seven pairs of limited edition which are exclusively on sale via Revlon's Facebook page - prices start from £315
