Christopher Shannon told us last week that he'd drawn inspiration from Liverpool's super-clubs of the 90s for spring 2014, and it was clear enough at his catwalk show today – the nudges and winks included a DIY club motif on zingy orange knitwear. Tchoooon!

Post-rave neons were mattified on rubbery shirts and shorts, while Aertex polo shirts had dweeby (in a good way) zip-up V-necks.

There was a ditzy floral print too, suave but sporty on a padded bomber jacket, and double waistbands reminiscent of all those boxer shorts visible over jeans at the height of the Cream-era.

A collaboration with Kickers made for stompy sandal-cum-trainer hybrids: just the thing for showing the dancefloor who's boss.
