With just under a month to go until New York Fashion Week kicks off, marking the beginning of a month long show extravaganza, the arrival of this new collaboration seem very fitting. Famed nail artist Jin Soon Choi (she’s done Gisele’s nails for the cover of i-D as well as Beyonce and Christy Turlington) has teamed up with cult American brand Tibi to bring forth what might just be one of the best nail pairings to date.

The line consists of five shimmering shades as well as a matte top coat, all inspired by the idea of layering, in keeping with Tibi’s ethos. ‘I wanted to create a collection that embraces the colours of the season and is in line with the fundamentals of my nail polish line, which is elegant and simple, yet high fashion,’ Jin Soon Choi explained. ‘I wanted to give the collection a sophisticated edge.’

Each polish is sparkly as hell. But don't let that put you off if ordinarily, sparkles abhor you. The formulas still manage to feel grown-up and chic as the sparkle isn't too thick in particles, which is down to using fine mica powders to achieve the look of glitter, a feature that is double patented to Jin Soon polishes and deliver a longer-lasting manicure. The formulas are also five-free (oh you know we’re partial to five-free) yet retain a lustrous and rich shade throughout.

So that’s our FROW nails sorted rather stylishly then. The hard bit is settling on one colour.
