Sibi Bolan’s Agent Provocateur love-in
The creative colour director at Daniel Hersheson talks old school glamour, underwear and feeling sexy from the inside out
I have a real love for 40s and 50s glamour. The attention to detail that those women paid to looking good was phenomenal. The half-moon manicure, the coiffured hair, make-up that was never out of place. Not to mention the underwear and stockings – sexy from the inside out.
"I never feel underdressed as long as I have a spritz of it on."
And so my love affair with Agent Provocateur’s signature fragrance began. It started years ago when I had my first Agent underwear shopping spree. I realised that when you have gorgeous underwear on – whether or not you have time to make the outside look good too – you feel amazing. So along came my addiction to the smell and association of this feeling.
Everyone always asks what I am wearing and it’s the only scent I ever use. It's powdery and rich but exotic too. I never feel underdressed as long as I have a spritz of it on.
