Emma Hill leaves Mulberry
Emma Hill is leaving Mulberry, the label she has been at since 2008, Women’s Wear Daily reports this morning.
While neither Hill nor Mulberry have officially commented it is believed that ‘disagreements with management over creative and operational strategy’ are behind Hill’s decision to step down as creative director of the brand.
While at Mulberry, Hill has overseen bestselling designs like the Alexa, named after Alexa Chung, and the Del Rey after Lana Del Rey, as well as injecting colour and unashamed fun into the catwalk presentations.
There is no word yet on her next move or on who will replace her.
