The rumours about the documentary following Carine Roitfeld during the making of her first CR Fashion Book have been flying for some time, but the date for the release of Mademoiselle C has now been set for September 11. The documentary gives unprecedented insight into the mind and life of the renowned editrix, thanks to the access she granted to director Fabien Constant, who has filmed her once before for a mini-documentary for W magazine.

If you’re given access-all-areas to Roitfeld’s life, then you’re bound to come across a few exorbitantly famous people along the way. Constant has them in droves. The director has given starring roles to Tom Ford, Karl Lagerfeld and Ricardo Tisci, with supporting cameos from Kanye West, Alber Elbaz, Cate Blanchett, Natalia Vodianova, Donatella Versace, and many more heavy-hitting super-slebs.
