Do you remember when leather was reserved for cold weather? It was something you only really wore with knitwear and a big woolly coat.

Leather's presence on the catwalk for all seasons over the past few years, however, has changed that, but this is the first summer that I’ve personally got on board with it as a warm-weather basic.

I’ve got three leather skirts, two leather dresses and two leather tops on the go at the moment, including this leather shirt by Whistles. It's a beautiful rich green that sits somewhere on the colour spectrum between algae and teal.  

What better to wear it with than a so-wrong-it’s-right body-con skirt?
