The collection these were from was called ‘minimal baroque’, which I think is brilliant. They’re the perfect finishing touch and pick up even the most pedestrian of outfits. They’re so huge and calming in the way they filter the world that sometimes I forget just how spangly they are. Then I catch someone doing a double-take and I feel like Dame Edna all over again.
