When I put out the call to the team for their holiday wardrobe shopping list, I was expecting flights of fashion fantasy – kaftans of the order that Joan Collins might don. You know, the ones with a matching turban.

But it turns out we're a more practical bunch than I had originally anticipated (apart from me; I've chosen something shamelessly expensive), so as well as gawping at the pieces we'll be packing, you might also find some inspiration on how to look good in the sun, and tips on how to stay cool while you're heating up a treat.
