When you think of French label A.P.C, the idea of Vampire Weekend on holiday in Cannes comes to mind before you'd associate them with the louche style of Kanye West. Until now, that is, after the brand famous for its laid-back, preppy style, announced a collaboration with the rapper on its Instagram yesterday. 

 

Captioned simply, 'A.P.C. KANYE CAPSULE COLLECTION, JULY 14. #apc #kanyewest', the close-cropped image of some A.P.C Kanye jeans doesn't give much of a clue as to what the capsule menswear collection will be like. Are there rhinestones down the leg of those jeans, spelling out 'Messiah', or some other such megalomaniac affirmation, to add a Kanye touch to the otherwise understated label?

It's more likely that the collection, which Kanye hinted in a recent interview with W Magazine would include hoodies, T-shirts and Jeans, will show a simpler and more mature side to Kanye's style. Well, he is a Dad now after all. Kanye Dad-jeans - could that happen?!
