Times may be troubled for Dolce & Gabbana, but it was business (or in this case, pleasure)  as usual last night as they threw a brilliantly lavish Ballo In Maschera (a masked ball, to you and I) to celebrate their Alta Moda couture collection. 

Guests including Daisy Lowe, Rose McGowan and Karen Elson cracked out their most extravagant gowns and elaborate masks, while Dolce & Gabbana themselves held court as a particularly fabulous harlequin and matador respectively.

Taking decadence to the next level and outdressing them all was Anna Dello Russo (who else?) who swept through the party like a ship in the night, quite literally - her head-dress being a feather-topped gallion. That coupled with her Marie Antoinette ringlets and lace-ruffled dress actually ended up making her gilded eye-mask look quite demure. Even Giovanna Battaglia's fuchsia-pink cloak was no match for ADR.
