red carpet: white outfit
We've seen plenty of women on the street wearing white without looking bridal or grubby and continue to wonder how we too can wear it without sitting in soy sauce (seriously, it happens), and now those wardrobe teasing famouses are giving us even more reason to draw a blank on our shade-spectrum, with white being the most dominant colour on the red carpet recently.
Just this last week Kristen Wiig, Rihanna, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Rita Ora have worn it in crisp, sharp shapes, while Rosamund Pike, Sophie Sumner, Olivia Palermo and Vanessa Hudgens have been dabbling in pale, pretty lace, mesh and Broderie Anglaise.
Are you ready to take their lead and go for a total white out? It will require giving up Magnums (don't even think about letting cracking chocolate near a pale outfit), but the white ones are just as good and everyone chooses white wine over red in the summer anyway, right? You might even get away with rosé if you're careful. Just watch out for those little plastic fishes if you get sushi. Lethal, lurking, enemies.
