H&M treated Twitter followers to a first-look image of the Isabel Marant for H&M collaboration today when the brand tweeted a photo of Marant with the caption 'H&M followers, you're the first ever to see @isabelmarant wearing the #HMIsabelMarant collection! What do you think?'.

The photo shows the designer trying on a printed chiffon dress with a dropped waist and a pair of tasselled suede boots. Followers tweeted back with mixed responses – 'too slouchy' one said – but the look was retweeted hundreds of times and a quick straw poll in our office reveals that the Never Underdressed team will definitely be queuing up to buy into the collaboration when it goes on sale in mid-November.  

Of course, this image has only whetted our appetite for more information: will they reveal the rest of the collection on social media too? Should we take this as a sign that Marant is going to model her own line? Is this loose, relaxed silhouette a starting point for the whole collection, or is this just one look in a varied line?
